Flere end 9.000 medlemmer af Film Independent - en almennyttig organisation af uafhængige filminstruktører, skuespillere, forfattere og andre filmfolk - afholdte i går, lørdag, deres 21. prisuddeling. Stedet var et stort telt i Santa Monica, som traditionen byder. Blandt vinderfilmene er Brokeback Mountain, Crash, Transamerica og Capote, som hver fik to priser.
